DH, Claire and I went to Disney World March 4~8th! We had a blast. I can't wait to go again!
Here is my trip reports along with pictures.
Day 1
March 4th
Well our fight left around 2:30. Claire did well. She had to have the window seat, and me next to her ,which DH was bummed about. He likes looking out the window too. She wouldn't fall alseep though, and she was tired. She got a little antsy the last half hour. her and DH went and got the rental while I got the luggage. He upgraded to a van and it had a carseat built in it, and Claire thought it was great, and cried when he tried to take her out.
She slept on th way to the hotel for about 45 mintues. Here is a picture of the sign where you turn into the resort.
We checked in, got our room and situated. DH of course grabbed the remote for the TV immediately. Must be a guy thing! They had this cute dog made from a washcloth. The picture isn't all that great.
We headed over to the Magic Kingdom then. We go there a little after 8 and the parade had just started on Mainstreet and it was a zoo! You couldn't get in very far, because you basically had to follow the parade in to the main part. Once we got through with the thousands of others, we made our way over to Tomorrowland and got something to eat.
They had this animatronic guy in the resturant being a lounge singer type of guy. Claire was dancing to him and it was hard to get her to leave!
We then rode alot of rides. The park closed at 11, but resort guest had extra hours till 2 AM! We stayed till around 1. We got on rides with little to no wait. It was great. I recommend evenings if possible. Most people leave after the fireworks and the lines get really short after that. We got back to the hotel and finally Claire went to sleep around 2:30 AM!
